Scheduled repeated Tweets
All multiple scheduled tweets from a single entry.
e.g. Create one Tweet (with link) that can be posted at several scheduled times throught the day/week and which uses the same URL for each posting.
Would be great for collecting data in on-line polls across a working day/week. The Stats would then show true click-through data for for the survey. - Great for collecting marketing / demographic data over a period of time.

The other good reason for this is users who work globally... important Tweets need to be re-sent 3-4 times during the day so you don't miss many of your followers.

I totally agree with Mike's reason. It's the main reason why I would need to repeat tweets. -
Inappropriate?I do theatre and cinema tweets (what's on tonight, etc.) where we show the same film for 4 days or where we have comedy every Friday it would be good to automate repeats.

Inappropriate?I used recurring tweets at TweetLater and Twitter began to block them. I had generated some decent traffic to my blog with this feature, but it looks like it's over now. Sans that feature, I like HootSuite a lot better.

Inappropriate?Fully get - the company doesn't plan to do this - is a viable answer - can we in your beta understand a bit more - it is technologically unfeasable or we anlayized the time to implement vs the customer convenience - the company doesn't plan to do this is received by this writer (that would be me) as the similar to when I asked why as a youth and my parents would say; "'cuz" and if as a start up you simply don't have the time to say more than 'cuz' - I am okay with that, but please do revisit when u do have the bandwidth - helps the beta tester

This is something that we've considered, and it's something we continue to think about... but it's not currently in our development roadmap.
We're working on a lot of really great features that we feel are more important and will benefit all our users. And we've got some more great improvements coming up soon.

I guess the issues with this is limiting the number of re-tweets - both so it's not used for mass spam and also so you don't hit the Twitter API limits
I'd suggest a max of 3 per day or 5 per week - with option for the 5 to be same 8hr time-frame (for local) or spread of 24 for global -

And I agree with Mike - we don't want to spam, but I definitely retweet some of my own tweets, across broad timezones - those that hootsuite details to me in the stats - in that manner - I put my tweet in front of my followers during their time of presence.

Inappropriate?This would be good if you're reaching out to followers in different timezones. The easiest way to do this, I think, is allow the user to select more then one day/time for a pending tweet. Wow, 10 months since this idea was thought of. What's next? =)

Inappropriate?One of the reasons I am looking at HootSuite over others is the ability to schedule tweets (I hate it when someone sends out a vomit spew of tweets one right after the other and floods my feed).
This particular feature would allow folks who are promoting an upcoming event to type the tweet once and schedule it for multiple times and multiple days leading up to the event without having to cut and paste repeatedly.
