Inappropriate?Hi Betsy,
To update your Twitter profile avatar in BrightKit, log in and click on "Settings," then click on the "Manage Profiles" tab.
There's a button on this tab called "Sync Profile Avatars with Twitter." This will update your profile images in BrightKit.
Note that Twitter's API seems to cache user image locations for some time, so if you change your profile image in Twitter and then immediately try to update the avatar in BrightKit, it may not work. You can get around this by either waiting a few hours, or sending out a tweet from your account (sending a tweet seems to force an update of Twitter's cached avatar).
Hope that helps.

I cannot see why this isn't automated, at some point, by hootsuite. Even a weekly cron job would be better. I mean, why would a user ever NOT want their avatar sync'd? -
Inappropriate? Thanks! After reading your response I had a thought that b/c I was in an editor profile and not the admin, that I probably didn't have the option. Voila. Any thought to creating two levels of associated accounts - editor and admin privileges?

Inappropriate?Hi Betsy,
Allowing for editors to add their own Twitter profiles (e.g. adding personal Twitter profiles) is something we've been considering.
Thanks for the feedback. -
Inappropriate?@wazungu: The reason we don't currently automate this is that we've got a *ton* of Twitter profiles on HootSuite.com, and polling every account for changes would be a big resource drain.
We may change this behaviour later if there's a demand for it. Thanks for the feedback.
