Help me get some support from HP!

HP support has been absolutely awful for me. The absolute worst support I've ever gotten from a compnay. I purchased a new laptop, and both the DVD drive and battery malfunctioning. After several weeks of troubleshooting, including reinstalling the OS (twice!) at their request, they finally agreed that I need replacements. They asked for my complete information, including phone numbers and time to call. I gave this information to them several times over the course of the issues. They have never called back. It has been two weeks now, no call, no even start of an exchange. I have tried contacting their support repeatedly and they just apologize, saying this isn't representative of their support, and I should be hearing from them shortly. I never hear from them. Who can I contact about this horrible experience?
