Help me get some support from HP!
HP support has been absolutely awful for me. The absolute worst support I've ever gotten from a compnay. I purchased a new laptop, and both the DVD drive and battery malfunctioning. After several weeks of troubleshooting, including reinstalling the OS (twice!) at their request, they finally agreed that I need replacements. They asked for my complete information, including phone numbers and time to call. I gave this information to them several times over the course of the issues. They have never called back. It has been two weeks now, no call, no even start of an exchange. I have tried contacting their support repeatedly and they just apologize, saying this isn't representative of their support, and I should be hearing from them shortly. I never hear from them. Who can I contact about this horrible experience?

Inappropriate?First of all, if your computer is out of warranty, you're not gonna get any help. If it is in warranty, PERSIST. I had the same problem. (at least with the support; my problem was overheating) After 173 emails back-and-forth, plus six or seven calls--one with a hold time of about 45 minutes--I was escalated to a case manager and got a replacement.
