Pavilion DV worse notebook ever???
i own a small repair shop and have seen DOZENS of the pavilion DV with bad motherboard/video. Some are under warranty, and some are covered under a recall....unfortunately we get a bunch that HP wants to charge 400 bucks to fix...this seems a bit unreasonable when the bad motherboard is a known problem

Inappropriate?kiteedog, do you know where I can find information on the existing Pavillion DV issues and/or recall? I have a Pavilloin dv9925nr & about two days ago it started malfunctioning. About every 20 minutes (usually watching netflix or hulu video) I either get a BSOD or a smaller crash together with a message that the nvidia driver has crashed & restarted.

Inappropriate?The IBM T40 series with the bad graphics processor is surely a strong contender for this title? I have a 6ft pile of them in my garage. Also any Dell Latitude D600 series for sheer lack of build quality.

Inappropriate?I can agree on the D600 series as well.
Many "fixes" made by me with increasing issues.
