Remote control on wire, play music when I'm in a Call!
Hi, I'm have a question: When I am with headset (with mic), make a call, if you touch in remote control (on the wire) HTC play music!! on middle of call. How I block this? How I prevent of you can play music on middle of a Call?

Inappropriate?What kind of headset do you use? I tried this on mine (sans remote) and i found i could start playing music while on the phone, but only if i navigated to the music app and turned it on. As far as i know most remotes hang up the phone when pressing their button. but I don't have a wired headset with remote to test with.

Inappropriate?I have the headset included in the box of my HTC.
If I use the headset to make a call (or receiving), and i touch (for accident) the keys in wire, the HTC start to play music.
The keys is very sensitive and is very difficult use handset to make a call for this issue.

Inappropriate?I just tested this with my Hero and I found the following:
With firmware build version: 2.73.405.5
and White earbuds included in the sku
While in a call:
Short press the middle button would mute the call
Long Press the middle button would hang up
While only listening to music:
Short press will pause the music
Can you supply the ROM Build number of your phone?
HOME>MENU> Settings > About Phone > Build Number
I will continue to investigate this. -

Sorry for all, but the problem is not in HTC, I have installed Meridian player on my android, and this program take control of remote keys... I uninstall this app, and everything work fine.
