Account Settings Bug
I have "Show News" in My Setting deselected, but usually the News shows up anyway. I'm not bitching, I'm a programmer and appreciate the fact that HD is in beta. Just an interested user proivding feedback to the Dev team.

Thanks for the feedback guys; the "show news" does have a small error in it which is also acting a little strange in IE. I know it's frustrating, will fix it as soon as we can. One of those niggly little bugs!

Inappropriate?What happens to me is the first two catagories will be news free but the rest of the page shows news items.
I am using Firefox.

Inappropriate?I'm (usually) using Firefox too. The behavior is inconsistent. I've taken to using the selection list on the Back button after taking a position to get back to the "no-news" view.

I guess the bug is similar to the one who sometimes makes my predicitions public and sometimes not, while I never ever dare to care about that stuff :) -

Inappropriate?I'm not irritated! I'm just a beta tester reporting a bug to the development team. For me, it's usually the other way around, and sometimes that _is_ irritating 8^)
