Announcements tab

I know a personalized home page is in the works, and I assume therefore there will be a new Questions tab to replace what currently shows up under "Home", or something that functions equivalently. But don't we need a tab for important news and announcements, or perhaps a prominent place on the new home page for these? I know you could say that the Get Satisfaction forum functions as such, but not everyone uses it, and it's filling up pretty fast with myriad questions, issues and discussions. New rules and clarifications need to be broadcast directly to users, as well as in-game question lists, etc.
