cashing in after bidding is suspended
i've noticed that even after bidding is suspended you can still cash out on alot of bets...while on some questions i can see why that should be allowed, on others it doesn't seem right. i'm talking specifically about the lesnar fight question. i voted no right before bidding closed and later i noticed that the yes percentage went down like 30%, so i'm assuming he lost and people are pulling their cash out so they don't lose it all. on other questions tho where there is simply a suspension time and the question is resolved later it would seem unfair to tie up the players money for like 3 months or however long it takes for a settlement to actually occur.

Inappropriate?Hi,
Thanks for letting us know. This is a live bug. I've logged it to be fixed. -
Inappropriate?YES! I've just noticed this on all the many Super Tuesday questions that had a suspend date/time of late Monday night. They're suspended but able to be cashed in. At the time of writing that hardly matters, as the first polls close in just over 12 hours from now. But if the cash in button works until the time of settlement (obviously after the result is known), I can get out of all the bad choices I made at much less of a loss once I know just how bad my choices were. Not good!
Maybe we need two suspends, one as is, and an option to either close cash in at the same time, or to set a fixed amount of time after suspending betting where cashing in is still allowed.
I’m concerned.

Inappropriate? In the short term, the cash in date should be tied to the suspend date IMHO.

Inappropriate?Hi Infernal Machine,
We'd actually been thinking about putting that fix in for a couple of days. We manage to deploy it this morning so users can't cash in on predictions made within 12 hours of the question creation.
