Incorrect questions: to flag or request settlement? that is the questions
When my father (who plays hubdub) and I find questions that seem grossly incorrect we have been sending in settlement requests, asking for the question to be voided, instead of just flagging it. The reasoning behind this is: a settlement request gets the attention of the editor, while a flag probably will not. Is this ok, or is it proffered not?

Inappropriate?I think with the new option to add an information why you flagged something, the chances to get someones attention should have increased. But I agree that flagging was pretty much useless in the time before, hopefully that changed.

Inappropriate? You've made a good point. We've changed the flagging functionality this week so that the Hubdub admins can now get a list of flagged questions and can see the reasons they've been flagged. Request Settlement really should only be used for, well, requesting settlement...!
I’m thankful the flagging function is fixed

Inappropriate? This has been a very informative thread, nice question Skipper. I have been using "Request Settlement" to try to alert HD admins about questionable questions, because "Flag for Review" never seemed to get any response. If the HD admins are being alerted to flagged questions, I'm happy to use their preferred mechanism.
I’m Hey Skipper, "Who's your Daddy?"

Inappropriate?AAA (gimme a tow) thanks for the positive comments and yea, I have used the 'request settlement' tab before, I have used the 'flag for review' tab too, the reason I created this question was our discussion earlier today, Dad XD
I’m happy my question got answered, and saying "you" to anaverageamerican
