Make "Comments" default tab on question page
Hello Hubdubbers,
We're thinking of switching the tab selected by default on the question page from being "News" to "Comments". Any objections? Do people look at the news and click through to read it often?

Inappropriate?I like this idea, but I have also noticed that the news getting pulled up is of a lot better quality than when the site was first launched.
Also, some questions do not generate any comments - would it be possible to make 'news' the default if this is the case?

Inappropriate?well, this is still a news-prediction site, so it should be news-centered.
the comments tab is only such a social network thingy :)
i'd like to have a configuration option for this in my site settings.
there is that checkbox with which news can be show/hidden in the market-lists too.
i also said i the "new and improved" thread that it would be useful when content of all hidden tabs is not loaded as part of the page, so the page would respond faster. look at the "whos gonna be president" market with 100+ comments - that page takes very long to load and render.

Inappropriate?With as much debate as occurs on questions, maybe the settlement details tab should be the default. I like the news tab being default.

Inappropriate?I say the "All Predictions" tab, I like that so I can see where my money on a question is at. I agree with kruijs, let us choose on our settings :D

Inappropriate?I don't want comments to be the default. That's like putting page 3 girls on the front of the paper - Not a good idea when you are a news source, even if that's where a lot of people go first!
I’m anxious to be a primary new source, not just a social spot.

Inappropriate?There are links to news stories on question pages? I had not noticed. I spend more time in the comments, so I'm okay with the proposal. But my mouse finger still works so I'm okay having to click on the comments tab too.
