I just want to know what Hubdub is doing to attract new users?
I joined way back in February and the since then the userbase has grown by a miserable(sorry!) 700 or so users.

Inappropriate?How many of your friends have become Hubdubbers? I'm not a marketing wizard, but I think the basic idea of sites like Hubdub is to get some traction and go viral through grass-roots expansion.
I'm not the most sociable of people but I have enlisted 8 Hubdub users since signing up in late January. -
Inappropriate?We obviously had a lot of coverage at launch which drove the bulk of our sign-ups to date. We've been fairly heads down since then but we are now planning on increasing our exposure and improving the amount of search traffic we get.
However, anaverageamerican is right, sites like us don't have much of a marketing budget and need to grow virally to be successful. We will be releasing some features over the next week that should make it easier for that to happen.

Inappropriate?i read on the blog about a meeting in san fran or somewhere across the pond...is this to look for more investment or what?...while the exposure and hopefully press coverage of this should help some with that, but i'm assuming that that'll also come with a cost i.e. adverts
