New Leaderboard Idea? (Predictions Percentages)
I've been thinking about this for a bit. Apologies, if it has been discussed previously. Didn't notice it if it has though. What about a leaderboard(s) based win/loss percentage(s) for successful market predictions?
I don't know if Hubdub has the capability (though I would think it would) to determine the number of predictions Hubdub members get correct versus the total number of market predictions they make. (e.g. I have made 100 predictions and got 60 correct, so would have a 60% result).
If a member cashes in on a question, then perhaps they would receive a partial credit percentage (e.g. 0.2%) depending upon how much, if any H$ they received (compared to the total they possibly could have received had they didn't cash in) after the market question has been settled. (e.g. If a member would have collected a max of 4k $H and cashed in receiving 2k, and after the question was settled, they were correct, then they would received 0.5%, from their cashing in.)
Could possibly have weekly, monthly, quarterly leaderboards based on win/loss, etc. but could also divide it up into groups of members, based on total number of predictions.
For example....
Less than 100 Predictions
101 to 200 Predictions
201 to 300 Predictions
301 to 400 Predictions
and so on.
Just an idea I thought I'd put out there for consideration, etc. I'm sure it could be improved upon too from the suggestions of others.
Thanks,
Bob

Inappropriate? That is an interesting suggestion. The leaderboards is something we want to get back to at some point. There are a number of things we could do but we still want to keep it fairly straightforward. As before, if we make changes to the leaderboards we will share our ideas before implementing it.
