Inappropriate? There was a question of mine which was voided last week just because I had given a guys nickname instead of his name .
-
Inappropriate?Because then they could also void it if the likely result of the question isn't in their favor
-
Inappropriate? What about adding an option in which users can send requests to void their questions due to some mistake they have made ..you can make the process just as important as settling a question .
-
Inappropriate? We are hoping to get power user verification of questions in within the next couple of weeks so this shouldn't be necessary. With that will be the ability to edit and re-submit voided questions.

Inappropriate? What is it going to take to become a power user? As the number of users and questions has increased I'm finding more questions that I would like to void, or send back to the creator with comments, than I want to invest in.
That's why I'm languishing around 80th on the leader board. If the questions were better I'd be on top 8^)
I’m apparently more of an editor than a predictor

Inappropriate?I agree with anaverageamerican, I couldn't have said it better myself!
I’m happy to help!!!

Inappropriate? The details haven't been finalised but I expect it will be based on users having a certain number of successfully settled or non-voided questions. For example, it might be if you have managed to create 5 questions that have not been voided then you get power user status.
Power users should have the ability to send back questions for re-editing.
