Why add links to Elsewhere without asking?
I'm all for you to add links you found to be mine under Elsewhere. I'm not so excited by not being able to "filter" them. As in, prompt me something like: "we've found these links, do you want to add them to your profile?".
You could save those I reject in a black list so that next time you crawl my websites, you can avoid prompting me those I already rejected.

Okay, I've tightened up the way that the "Elsewhere" linking works. As of now, links will only show up if they are reciprocal.
For example, if you enter "example.com" as your URL, your Flickr account and Twitter account will only show up if they are linking to "example.com" *and* somewhere on example.com, you are linking to your Flickr and Twitter accounts with rel="me".
This means the lists will be a lot smaller but they will only contained confirmed claims.

Inappropriate?Well, you have already established that those are your websites by using rel="me" to link to them (or by using rel="me" to link back to your own site). But yeah, I take your point that some kind of filtering mechanism would be good.

Inappropriate?Yeah... I have said they're mine somewhere, but individual blog posts uris are also "mine" though I'd still prefer pointing to the blog homepage instead.
Maybe I shouldn't be labeling links to other blog posts with rel="me"... or should I?

Inappropriate?I put in my company's URL and got all the official "elsewhere" accounts. I wasn't expecting it (although its v clever). I'd like to be able alter these/add my own twitter/flickr etc.
I tried to change the elsewhere links by putting my friendfeed URL as my website. It doesn't change the elsewhere links though.

Inappropriate?Not only +1 to what everyone said above, but my "elsewhere" link is to a site that went 404 in 2007. I have no idea where you're getting the link from! If I could remove it from the list, I would!
