Buffer question...only 5 seconds out of a full buffer?
How do I enable the 5 minute buffer? Sometimes I get only about 5 seconds of video out of a "full" buffer.

Inappropriate? That's definitely not the way the buffer indicator is supposed to behave. If it's showing up as full then you should be able to watch several minutes of content without any pauses.
Can you tell me if it's still happening, and give me an example of a particular video, as well as your Hulu username and an exact time (and timezone) when you watched it? I may be able to take a look at the logs and see what happened.
I’m confused

Inappropriate? It's a problem I've experienced on more than one occasion. I won't be able to remember the details you need but I will pay attention in the future. When it happens again, I'll let you know. :)
My Hulu username is DeputyMoniker
I’m happy.

Inappropriate?Okay. It just happened with an episode of The Office. "Business Trip." Season 5 episode 7. I started the video, paused it to allow the buffer to fill, waited for all of the bars to fill and for it to say "full", hit play, hit the "lower the lights" button, hit the "full screen" button, and it played for maybe 5 seconds before it froze. I paused it to see how the buffer was doing and it is empty. Happened just now. My username is DeputyMoniker on Hulu.
EDIT: Oh, and I was logged in when it happened. (I am still logged in now.) It happened at 5:30ish AM Central.

Inappropriate?Same thing just happened on the "30 Rock" Christmas Special. 6:29 AM Central.

Inappropriate? So there is no one here to answer questions?

Inappropriate?I think the problem is on THIER end, and or a software problem they don't want to admit to.
-
Inappropriate?Sometimes software breaks. It takes time to fix and find the issue. He may be busy fixing real issues not your 1 in 100 chance of a video not buffering properly.
Perhaps you should invest in a proper internet connection where you do not have to worry about buffering. -
Inappropriate?And its "their".
