is hulu slower?
I usually don't have any problems watching Hulu, even hi-res.
Today, all of the videos load for ever. When I pause, the buffer progress bar is slow (several minutes) to load. The rest of my Internet is still very fast.
The funny thing is that watching ads is not a problem, no loading required.
Did you guys change something this week?

Inappropriate?I'm so sorry that you are running into slowness with videos. There could be many different reasons that this is happening, and unfortunately without some additional information I can't help you very much.
However, there is a way that you can run some diagnostics that will help us troubleshoot the problem in more detail. Go to http://www.hulu.com/support/streaming and fill out the form there, and submit it to us -- we'll try to reply within a few days.

Inappropriate?I've also noticed that Hulu has slowed down. It is impossible to watch an entire tv show without constant interruptions to re-load. Not sure what happened to Hulu, but the service is getting worse. Do you know any other places to watch shows on-line - since it has become too annoying to watch Hulu. Oh and no problems during commercials -- I agree. What's up?

Inappropriate?Actually, I was using Google Chrome to access Hulu. Then I tried with Firefox 3 and it worked fine!
I'm not sure if it was a coincidence, but just in case it applies to somebody else...

Inappropriate?Hulu always seems the slowest and choppiest to me out of all the players. ABC's go player runs the fastest followed by Fox then SciFi's. Hulu runs at record slow times and I have to wait like five minutes to watch another thirty seconds quite often. It is very annoying at times. :[
