Inappropriate?Amtrak also offers daily service between the SF Bay Area and locations as far north as Arcata. Their bus goes to Martinez, and then you transfer to a Capitol Corridor train bound to Oakland. There are easy connections to BART. Amtrak is often much less crowded and has more space than Greyhound but costs more and has longer travel time. See www.amtrak.com
