TransportJeffCoast Invitation
We have had a Yahoo Group called TransportJeffCoast (Transportation on the Coast of the Imaginary State of Jefferson - Redwood and Wild Rivers Coast) since Greyhound decided to drop their service there a few years ago. Today 2008-09-09 we just did some moderation upgrading, and would like to invite anyone here to join. This is for issues and services that go beyond or broader than just the HTA coverage area, and are "regional" in nature, as well as intermodal. HTA and Aaron have some wonderful services here that are quite impressive, meanwhile, at the time creating a Yahoo Group was our best way we knew of to discuss the broader transportation issues, services, and coverage from Humboldt to Coos County, and linkages to/from these points to places like I-5, Portland, and the SF Bay Area. --- Welcome, and Please Join Us. ---

I'd like to join the group and find out what's happening — I would like to have better ways of traveling between Arcata and Portland.
However, you did not include a URL for the group in your post. Could you please provide this URL?
For this season's Community Wheel magazine, Green Wheels has an article on longhaul transportation options from Kalia Scarla (particularly inspired by and addressing the lack of options for travel north from Arcata).
If you'd like to provide feedback on this article, or offer some more information on your efforts that could add to this article, that would be great.
