Facebook: strip hashes and bangs?
About the Facebook-application; is there any chance one could remove #'s and !'s? (Or perhaps have a setting that posts ending in several #'s and !'s get these words removed? At least some consistent way of cleaning posts before FB-posting...)

Inappropriate?I'm not sure how you want this to work. If you say, "!macosx I love to use #openoffice", should it show "I love to use openoffice", "macosx I love to use openoffice", or "I love to use"?
I’m unsure

I'm not sure either ;-) I just know that, at the very least, I don't want #! in the facebook imports.
But then there could of course be the additional feature of eg. removing all #! words that appear after a certain symbol (like, "I love to use #openoffice @!macosx @#love" turns into "I love to use openoffice"), but I'd say that feature is less important... (not sure how many would use it but me) -
Inappropriate?I'd suggest turning them into links to identi.ca instead -- that way, people can see click on #openoffice and !macosx to find out more. But do Facebook status updates support links? (At least FB application notices do.)

That _would_ be the best solution, if possible...
