jabber client keeps disconnecting...

Why does the identi.ca Jabber/XMPP client keep disconnecting / reconnecting? happens often several times an hour. Anyone else seeing this problem?

Hey.
So, yes. This is our problem.

The reason is that after the move to the new platform we're still having some configuration issues.
Our jabber client is using more memory than it should.

While we're fixing the problem we've decided to work-around it by just restarting it when it gets too greedy.
We feel that this is better than having it not run at all.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved fairly soon, but in the meantime you might have to put up with the minor annoyance.

I'm learning to ignore the offline/online notifications -- if I get sick of it I can always unsubscribe till you've fixed it ;-)
