Server timing out when creating a post

Hi, I'm trying to post an ad in the furniture for sale section. I've tried several times from FF and IE. I'm uploading an image, and that seems to upload fine, but when I complete the form and hit "next" I get the following error after a few minutes: 504 Gateway Time-out --- nginx/0.7.21
