New gas meter
I have recently had a new gas meter fitted which seems to be using more units than I previously used, having checked my gas bills over the past eighteen months. I have read on another forum that the meter goes round faster on a metric meter as opposed to an imperial meter. Is this true? I would be grateful for any advice.

Inappropriate?I had the same thing last January and it looks like you are using loads more but when I spoke to BG they said that wasnt the case. BUT my first bill which was part old meter and mainly new meter jumped up £100 for that qtr which is why I read my meter daily now to keep an eye on it. Very odd really as I seem to be using the same as the previous year now again???
