WASP is the Web Analytics Solution Profiler, a free Firefox extension aimed at web analytics implementation specialists and web analysts who wants to do quality assurance and understand how their web analytics solution is implemented.
Since upgrading to Firefox 3 it seems that WASP is not working if the delicious-Plugin is installed/active at the same time. Has somebody else the same problem? (I am currently using WASP 0.5 and delicious 2.0.72)
Where can I find the "advanced features" such as providing an input txt file with URL's, get a CSV report,...? I'm new with the tool and can't find these but it sounds so cool & great.
When I try to crawl a site the dialog/wizard appears but on step 2, the next button is greyed out and won't allow you to proceed.
The bottom section on that step - Tools - is showing "Looking" in bold and from the text above I presume it is checking what tools are found on that page, but never seems to return anything to allow you to continue.
It would be nice to have a button to "reset" WASP. At the moment I debug an AJAX application and on every click three new tabs are added (the page never changes:-). As a result the WASP tabbar gets, well, crowded.
Maybe this is a duplicate of "How do I navigate the WASP tabs when multiple tags are implemented". But I'm more interested in a clean tabbar than a new navigation function.
We are using the Nedstat product Sitestat in our environment in a proof of concept .
WASP did not detect Nedstat in our environment.
And I found the reason:
- this line works :
sitestat("http://nl.sitestat.com/sanomabe/flairnl/s?test.test_nl_sitestat_com");
- this one doesn't
sitestat("http://be.sitestat.com/sanomabe/flairnl/s?test.test_nl_sitestat_com");
So, WASP looks for a sitestat("http://nl.sitestat.com ; it should "wildcard" the subdomain .
Can this be fixed ?
How much time would this take before a new version containing this functionality would be present ? Because we like it ! ;-)
How do I know what the individual Query String items mean? For example, in a SiteCatalyst HBX page, I don't know what ra, n, ttt, or quite a few other items indicate.)
When looking at a site that has multiple tags implemented the WASP sidebar will only display a limited set of tabs and I cannot navigate to tabs that are not on the screen. Is there a way to do this?
As of 5-21-2008 ver .44 (and previous ver) does not detect the GA pagetracker on sites on multiple installs with firefox 2.0.0.14 .(urchin still works ok)
Is there a reduction in identification of the different web analytics tools in version 0.44? I have 3 machines installed with different version (0.2,0.3 and 0.4) of WASP. It seems version 0.4 actually doesn't report on the web analytics tools on some of the websites.
Hi, it will be great that you change the Nielsen//Netratings tag information. First Now the compny name is Nielsen Online, second, this tag is not for Panel but for Analytics
