Reduced identificiation in version 0.4 compared to older version
Is there a reduction in identification of the different web analytics tools in version 0.44? I have 3 machines installed with different version (0.2,0.3 and 0.4) of WASP. It seems version 0.4 actually doesn't report on the web analytics tools on some of the websites.

1) Make sure you install the latest version from http://wasp.immeria.net (v0.45) This version is ONLY available from wasp.immeria.net (doing Tools/Addons/Look for updates won't find it)
2) Finds Omniture correctly on dbs.com
3) For Eric's blog, look at the source code of the home page, indextool and opinionlab are commented out, can't see any Clicky in there either. I checked using debugging proxies and they are not there. Maybe Eric changed it recently?

For Google Analytics, they have changed their ga.js code and WASP doesn't pick it up anymore. I have fixed it and will make this version available shortly.
For the sites mentioned by Chung, try refreshing the page. When I do "right-click/open in new tab" and then switch to that tab, WASP doesn't show the results. However, when I refresh the page it works fine.
(There was a refresh issue whereas sometimes the tools from a previous page were still being showed, I fixed that in v0.44 but it looks like it might have created another problem...)

Inappropriate? There is no reduction in the number of tools, rather an increase. But there was some tweaks done to optimize the code and especially fix an issue where the sidebar wasn't refreshing correctly. So in fact, it's possible that older versions of WASP were reporting more than what was really on a page. V0.2 and 0.3 were less stable.
If you think WASP should be detecting something and it's not, point me out to the site and I'll validate it.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the quick reply Stephane.
Here is a local bank using Omniture - http://www.dbs.com/sg/
However, it is not shown up on WASP 0.44
But on this Computer Hardware Forum - http://forums.vr-zone.com/showthread.... - Omniture is identified.
Here is a recent blog from Ian Thomas - http://www.liesdamnedlies.com/2008/05... - Nothing is indicated on WASP 0.44 but if i am correct GA and Quantcast should be shown.
Another recent blog post from Eric Peterson - http://blog.webanalyticsdemystified.c... - Nothing is identified on WASP 0.44 - but i think Eric is using Indextool and Clicky on his site.
One more from Computer Peripheral company Razer - http://www.razerzone.com/ - Nothing is shown on WASP but i believe they are using GA.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling WASP on this machine but the results are still the same. Please let me know if there is anything i should do because i am a fan of your tool.
Thanks for the help.

Inappropriate?I have noticed the same behavior on numerous sites. My older WASP tools picks up all the tracking code. Is there a way to revert to an archived version?
I’m anxious

I tried refreshing the webpage but WASP still can't identify Omniture on www.dbs.com and on Eric Peterson's blog - indextool and clicky.
For Google Analytics, i know that they have changed their ga.js code. My concern was that the older version of WASP was able to pick up on the GA code but strangely the new WASP 0.44 couldn't
Hope to see the new WASP soon.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Thanks Stephane,
Just tried WASP 0.45, everything is working fine now. Thanks.
Regarding Eric's blog, I am also looking at the source code. It seem like the homepage only have GA and Omniture but the link i provided you Eric actually included Indextool and Clicky. The new WASP 0.45 have detected everything.
Thanks again for your quick response.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hi Stephane, I have found the actual problem regarding this issue. It was a conflict with the Firefox Addon: Adblock Plus. Specifically, the filter by Filter Von Dr. Evil (Deutschland) is blocking most web analytics vendors.
I’m happy
