Wasp renames the Firefox browser name - Omniture clickmap detects an unsupported browser upon add-on download
After installing the WASP add-on in Firefox3 (WASP 0.73), it is renaming the Browser name.
This is a problem on certain websites that rely on a specific standard value of the Browser Name. For example, when I download the Clickmap add-on on OMniture, I get the Browser Not supported in the Omniture Popup Clickmap Download window.
You might want to talk to Omniture to consider your WASP enabled Browsers. And being part of the solution and the problem, I decided to file this bug in your website instead of contacting Omniture about this. (you might have easier ways to get in touch with them) :-)
Have a good day Stephane,

Inappropriate?Right-click on the WASP icon, go into Options. There's a toggle to modify the User Agent string or not.
This is done as a "self disclosure" when crawling sites (i.e. acting like a robot). However, you raise a good point I should turn it off by default. Anyway, the option is also available from the crawling wizard.
Thanks for the feedback!
