How to reconnect after a manual disconnect - ipod.
Hi. I've set my iod to "manual" and I can manually eject/disconnect it. My question is how do I reconnect the ipod to the computer without pulling the lead out for a second and plugging it back in? Is there a software answer to this?

Inappropriate? Are you using a Mac or a PC?

Inappropriate? When you manually eject or disconnect it does it stop charging the battery?

Inappropriate?Eric - Good point - PC.
Leslie - I wonder if I'm confused. When I say manual eject I mean by the button on iTunes and not what the literal meaning would be. When I click the button I believe the ipod discconects from the software but still remains charging if not full already and still shows as connected on the ipod battery icon. If I've forgotten to add something I don't want to have to pull the USB lead out and back in again to connect - I want a software version of this; an un-eject button (or reconnect, more realistically).
Thanks for your ongoing help...

Inappropriate?I'm a Mac user, so I am not completely sure. But, I don't think there is a way to do this. I don't think Apple designed iTunes in this manner.
