Credit Card Terminal for iPhone allows merchants to charge credit cards from anywhere using their Authorize.Net(R) merchant account. Deal with declined cards on-site as services are rendered. No special hardware required, just your iPhone (or iPod Touch with the 2.0 firmware update).
Two questions:
When I clicked to sign up for a merchant account, it directed me to a site that is not authorize.net and whose prices are different from your page; they list $15/mo, your site lists $25/mo...what gives?
Secondly, one of my partners does not have an iPhone. With the merchant account I sign up for here, will he be able to have a normal web form method of access? I understand that would be third party, and I know Authorize.net provides a form like that - which brings me back to my first question, since I'm not sure I'm signing up for an Authorize.net account....
Need a way to refresh the page (or cancel the sale) if you change the sale, but MORE importantly...
The arrow to move to the Fields page doesn't always work. There is ALWAYS a weird pause OR I have to turn my phone off and on again and start all over! It would be nice if the terminal and the fields were all on one page
We are an Internet merchant processor that works with Authorize.Net as well as other gateways including one that has an AuthNet emulation mode and would be very easy to integrate as an option into your system.
We noticed you are partnered currently with MerchantFocus and wanted to know if you would are contracted exclusively with them or if you would be open to discussing a potential strategic alliance with our company.

does this program allow for the cutsomer to sign via the touchscreen? That way the customer can sign for the purchase and an e-mail copy of the receipt could be used.
I have been in the credit card processing industry for the past 12 years and this is a great application. I have some friends in the gateway business that would love to speak with you about setting up an API for their gateways. Please give me a call 815/609-1160. More gateways mean more customers.
I am new to all of this. So automated recurring billing would be done after the initial transaction in my authorize.net account on the computer? Or is this not possible to do?
i have what may be a simple question. i'm a first time merchant interested in taking credit card payments, and i would like to use CCT/Authorize.net to do so. where does the money go and how can i access it? i see you must provide Authorize.net with banking information for *billing*. Do i need a small business account at my bank or will any valid account number and routing work? Can i have the money deposited into my PayPal account?
I'm evaluation a merchant account with Maxx Merchants. They have a web interface to create credit card transactions but it is a real pain to use the iPhone for their website. I read on a blog that you don't have minimum monthlt fees. Let's say I have a month with no credit card charges. What will that month's service cost?
I love the simplicity of your fee structure, but have a few questions:
Does the $25/mo. fee include an Authorize.Net MOPO account?
What about surcharges for rewards cards?
Are there additional hidden fees like batch deposit fees or extra per-transaction fees based on the card?
The lack of a cc processing app. was one reason I haven't switched providers and gotten an iphone. So, I am very interested. couple of questions:
-Can more than one phone be on the authorize.net / internet merchant accnt. without paying all the fees? Obviously by purchasing the app.
-I see that I can use my current merchant service company as long as they use a platform that is supported by authorize.net, but i'm unclear on how that would affect the pricing?
What sort of CC security is there, in short how can I assure customers that I don't know that they can trust the transaction. We deal with event crowds and they need to know that there information is "safe." I realize from a tech standpoint this is of course somewhat of a joke, however I still need to reassure my customers that their ccard info is protected.
