How does extension updating work
I can't find any information on how extensions are updated. Does it happen automatically without any human intervention? Can you add this to the description of the extension on your site?

Inappropriate?When a new extension becomes available, we package it up and make it available to the system. When you login, you will then see "Update Available" next to the new extension, and you manually click the install button to make it happen.
Right now, based on user feedback, we're working on v2.0 which has some additional features: notifying you via SMS or email when an update is available, possibly optional "automatic" updates and patch management, as well as some new security features like signed packages.
I agree that the website needs to be updated, we'll do that as 2.0 comes closer to release.
