Hey all,

360Sync.com has been using the service for about 3 days, here is our review...

Pros:
Always signed in
Quick and Easy
Central system
Replying to others
Widgets that offer interesting information
Facebook, Flickr, and other 3rd party add-ins

Cons:
Too much Intense Debate banners (an example being the widgets)
Widgets don't look correct on our site, spacing and color issues
Too much back and forth between our site and ID. Everything should be viewable on our site, without having to really ever visit ID.
Can't lock comments for specific posts (like a contest that ended and isn't accepting entries anymore)
Comment Emails - we either get too many, or not enough, need an easier way to sort though comments while seeing emails, ip addresses and maybe some comment history, like if they didn't comment for a day, or 15 years.

Ideas For Future:
The option make specific users have a colored bar, and text next to it (like VIP)
Special ability to let users post videos or pictures on certain posts (maybe an exception rule to allow it, not something we would want on every post!)
Easier system that ties our registered users into the ID system - 1 system to register for both systems.

Either way, we are loving the system, and are looking forward to the upcoming updates!

I wrote a long post the other day. I included the Intense Debate JS at its end. My intention from the first was to clone the post and divide it into parts. Specifically, I copied it twice and renamed the copies' URLs so all 3 are now unique. I deleted all but part 1 (plus the I.D. JS) from the first post and published it. I deleted all but part 2 (+ID JS) from the second, and all but part 3 (+JS) from the third. Note that only the first post is published as of now.

Somebody commented on the first post, and the comment appears (at least to me, the admin) on all three. This will mislead or confuse any blog readers when I DO publish the follow-on posts, and is not what I want to happen.

What can I do to correct? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, I received such awesome response to my last problem and I need to bug you all again. ;)

I noticed that when waiting for ID to load my comment link, it's trying to ping ariel1.spaceprogram.com which takes a good 45 seconds to a minute to respond. Is there a way this can be written out of the script? It's annoying to see it take so long to load the page and sometimes the comment link doesn't show up till that site has responded.

Any ideas?

can i get comment setting without moderator system? bcoz its important to do follow blogging setting...

How about Intense Debate give us users 2 options (at the website)...

1. POWER USERS
2.Normal

For normal users, no change to the way you guide people to install ID or remove. Everything is status quo.

For Power Users, dispense with all these spoonfed steps and just provide everything in raw form. Javascript code available anytime. Install and uninstalll doesn't need you to upload the template etc.. just give the code and say where to put it. We can figure it out. Allow us to import and export at will, across different platforms, without needing us to be on a specific platform.

Incidentally, I am currently stuck precisely due to this very linear fashion of ID leading users to install and uninstall code. I needed to switch my blogs from Blogger layouts mode to classic mode (to self-host the blogs). No way I can get the generic Javascript code right now since all are on "Blogger" platform. Technically they still are on blogger platform, but they work differently.

It's just fortunate that I have a blog using the generic Javascript format and I can copy that from the other blog over to the current one I'm migrating.

Hello guys. I have 3 blogs: blog.hikarinet.info ConscienciaPlanetaria.hikarinet.info and wptests.hikarinet.info . They are separate and independent blogs, all using wordpress, and the last one is just a testing blog to test stuff before I add it so the other 2.

I added them all to my Intense Debate account and it is detecting them, at least Blog URL, Blog Title and Blog RSS are being tracked accordingly.

But all comments from all blogs are being sent blog.hikarinet.info moderation interface. They are appearing on their proper post page, but for moderation the other 2 keep empty and at blog.hikarinet.info receives all comments.

idk if it is a bug or my mistake on config, if it is due to all blogs having the same root domain or anything else.

Can anybody help me plz?

Can I modify bootstrap javascript code that loads commenting system to change some behavior or look? Is this legal according to terms of use?
For example I want to manually add some localization.

Anyway thank for a great service! It is looking sweet.
Support for API and server-side version would be nice.

I've had a problem awhile where my comment link doesn't show up on my index page. The problem happens in IE consistently and rarely in FF. I spoke to a fellow blogger and she said that you sent her a new .php document and if fixed the problem. Could I get you to do the same for me?

I just noticed that on http://wptests.hikarinet.info/ comments are show on the main page with other posts below and above, using AJAX. On the other 2 however, comment link sends to post page, and there the comments are shown.

This can't be due to themes, since 2 of them are using the same one.

I did nothing different on any of them. Is there a way to choose if comments will be shown on main page or post page? :D
