What do I do when Intense debate loads so slowly that users comment on blogger instead of Intense debate?

I have just helped migrate this blog: http://barefootbum.blogspot.com to here: http://barefootbum.com but unfortunately the IDC comments were not migrated which is kind of a show stopper.

What are our options here. Can you guys migrate the comments from one place to the other from your backend? Any other solution?

I am looking for a way to transfer my installation of ID from Blogger to Wordpress. I have been in contact with Jon and am waiting for the link to the plugin. He has asked via email for the current URL of my Blogger blog. It is http://www.oakforestwatch.com.

I installed Intense Debate on new posts and it is working fine, but the number of comments is always on zero on the home page (www.unerusseaparis.fr), although there are new comments. What is wrong with that?

I originally was on blogger when I imported my comments into ID. I did this early on when it was still experimental and I lost all my commenter's names on my ID. I sucked it up with the hopes of it being fixed soon per Jon. They did fix the problem with the new importer but I was stuck where I was. Fine I lived with it.

Now I am upgrading to my own hosted WP server and I can not have my existing comments show up due to different post id's. Now I have the old and new post ID's but ID said they can not help me.

Maybe someone else out there can get me out of comment hell? I don't seem to be getting anywhere with Jon or Michael.

Once I have exported my comments to XML, how do I put them into my blogger account?

The reason I want to do that is because I am moving to Wordpress and I currently see now way to simply move ID to my wordpress blog and I do not want to loose my comments.

I'm using the new style template on blogger (Simple II, actually) and I just signed up for blogger and went straight for Intense Debate. I follow all the instructions, saving the template, posting the xml to intense debate, and copy pasting the code over in the Edit HTML section of blogger. Every time I get an error like this:

I'm close to contacting blogger, but I thought I'd mention it here first since the issue is with Intense Debate and it might already be known.

And now with the new Blogger import/Export feature I am hoping you will have a fix for me. I am getting tired of waiting!

I just installed top commenters widget in my blog http://positivensuccess.blogspot.com/ but that showed my own name as well which I wouldn't like to be so removed after sometime for now but am willing to use in future. This widget also didn't show link to other commenters who commented without using IntenseDebate account i.e. using name and url of their blog. Is there any idea so that those(commenting withot using ID profile) commenters as well and my own name is not there?

In order to fix some problems with importing my comments I uninstalled and reinstalled my Account here. However the uninstall widget could not restore the code to be blogger friendly so I ran the Intense debate blogger template through the template widget when I reinstalled the blog.
Now comments on my blog are not appearing on my blog dashboard (http://freelanceGuru.co.uk).

Is there a tracking code that I need to update or something?

On importing comments, my Intense Debate comments have moved from their correct post (Commenting with Style) to a scheduled post that hasn't even been published yet. How can I fix this before the scheduled post goes live?

In my blog "my 5th floor view", all of the posts now show the comment link, whether zero comments or many.

I had to also place the add-ons, at the very bottom of the template, just like for my other blog, "my life after near death experiences", as blogger will not let me add the code to the widget boxes; i had to "force install" into the html sheet, at the very bottom of the blog, this works, in fact I suggest this to you all *as* a suggestion to others if everything else falls, in helping someone try to get the widgets to install in the widget boxes!

Trying to reinstall in Blogger and getting:
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The string "--" is not permitted within comments.

Can email you the template (would have been nice to be able to attach a document to this online support tool...)

installed Intense Debate widget on blogger blog, and all comments vanished and no widget shows up on sidebar...

Is it just me or are we still not getting email notifications for new comments?
