When I have Intense Debate plugin activated on Wordpress, it makes my page display invalid XHTML because of the links it uses. I get a total of 111 errors preventing me from being valid XHTML 1.1 Transitional.

When I try to view my user page (http://intensedebate.com/people/ahpatel), I get an error message saying "Invalid user name".

However, I confirmed that the username is correct in my profile and tried getting to it from simply clicking the username link that IntenseDebate puts in the top right corner when I'm logged in. Furthermore, if I try to create a new account with my same username, I get a message saying the username already exists in the database.

I'm registered using OpenID -- and I think that may be part of the problem. If so, I don't mind moving to a traditional login. How would I go about doing that and still claiming my blog?

Comment link text is not showing on the page. I've given the comment link text settings as "Be the first to comment" when there is no comments, "[#] comment" when there is 1 comment, & "[#] comments" when there are multiple comments. But in the page it is shown as "Comments" only. Whether there is a comment or no comments at all it is displayed as "Comments" only.

I hope you will respond to this problem quickly.

I'm trying to uninstall and reinstall Intense Debate to recover some lost comments as was suggested in an earlier thread. However, every time I try to copy and paste the code that the uninstall program gives me, I get this message:

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The reference to entity "action" must end with the ';' delimiter.

Can you please help me figure out what's going on? I am using Blogger and the URL is http://arsatoytalk.blogspot.com

I really like the look of Intense Debate, and would like to put it on my blog... but I'm having three issues getting it up and running on my Typepad Advanced Template blog.

1) As I am following the installation instructions, when I select "On all Blog Posts" instead of "All new posts", the text box containing the code snippet in Step 5. disappears, leaving nothing to copy, even though Step 5 remains. (See picture) This happens in both Firefox and IE.

2) When I instead select "All new posts", I can continue with the installation instructions, but when I instruct Typepad to Publish, the publish crashes, and I get a message from Typepad telling me an error has occurred. The blog publishes fine before I put in the ID code. Playing around with it, it seems like Typepad may be refusing to publish the code provided for the entry-list-sticky template.

3) I followed the instructions for the comment import feature, but when I attempted to import the file I had exported from the site, it started to load for about 30 seconds, then the page reset as if nothing had happened, and no comments were imported. (FYI, total file size for the export is 2.5 MB, roughly 1500 posts. I don't know if the size is straining things?)

a comment link does not show up on my blog. you have to click on the post name for the comment section to come up at all. how do i get that link to show up under every post?

When I imported my old comments in blogger. I still lost all of the comments I had that were made within my last two blog postings. I did get the comments on everything older, and new comments are working fine but I seem to have lost everything that was commented between 48 hours ago until just after I installed intense debate.
