Inappropriate?Any updates on this problem? As far as my blogs are concerned, the problem is still present. I have to either reply via EMAIL, or *not* sign-in and fill up the name, email and URL boxes like a visitor to reply to a comment in my own blog :(

I did some testing (I'm sure you got the email notifications) and I wasn't able to recreate the issue. I deleted my comments, in case you were wondering where they were.
Have you tried posting from a different location (IP) or computer? -
Yes I have, from home and office. From friend's office to friend's home. From different PCs too. Using IE6, IE7 etc. All produce the same error as shown in the screenshot above.
If it helps, I can't "reply" if I am logged in to Intense Debate. Even on other people's blogs, it's the same. I have to be logged OUT from Intense Debate, then fill in the name/url/email fields like a visitor would, before I can reply. -

however, since I never heard anything I have deactivated the plugin as the comments were totally not working....
I have also since changed my theme. I will go now and reactivate and see if there is still a problem

Inappropriate?Okay - I have reactivated the plugin but didn't really go any further as it wipes out all my previous comments which is not at all satisfactory. I have therefore deactivated once again until I can find out what should be done to stop this happening!!

Jude, after you reactivate the WordPress plugin your comments will be imported. They will temporarily not show up while they are being copied over into IntenseDebate. Don't worry, all of the comments will still be on your server. -

This really is frustrating - I am logged in for one thing, and I don't want people to have to log in to comment

Sorry for the delay. Most likely this is a conflict with Blogger Classic, which we are normally unable to integrate with. Does it make a difference if you are logged out of your Blogger account?
