Can't import comments into Blogger after IntenseDebate uninstall
I cannot import IntenseDebate comments back into Blogger Blogspot.
I uninstalled IntenseDebate for the following reasons:
1. Some comments were "moderated" for no obvious reason, disappearing and causing users to keep sending them.
2. Last comments widget continued to have wrong timestamps even after "fix"
3. No smileys.
4. Significant increase in page loading time
5. Too many links in widgets, giving spammy appearance (some people asked me if I works for IntenseDebate)
6. Comment count stopped showing in link, needing re-install.
The uninstall was rather difficult, as the automatic process failed to yield a properly formatted template. I followed the FAQ suggestion and removed manually everything in between "Intense comments, only to find that I had absolutely no comments at all.
I then manually added the comment code, following a virgin template code and that seemed to finally work.
Unfortunately, the last stage of reverting back to Blogger commenting does not work. I tried importing the comments using both Blogger in Draft importing feature and also CodePlex Blogger Backup, but it did not work.
Any suggestions?

Inappropriate?I apologize for the frustration. Currently we only offer a way to export your comments into an xml format. We do not currently offer a way to directly export your comments from IntenseDebate into Blogger. We have disabled our blogger exporter due to some bugs and are currently reworking it. I apologize for the inconvenience.
1. Were the comments that were moderated held in your moderation queue for your approval?
2. We can take another look at your last comments widget to see what the issue is if you'd like.
3. We will have smiley support in the future.
4. What web browser did you experience increased page loading time with?
5. Our widgets will be customizable in the future.
6. After your reinstall did your comment count show up?

Inappropriate?I also uninstalled ID because i could not import my blogger comments (over 1 year's worth) into ID. I saw nothing notifying me of this before I did the install. Then I couldn't UNINSTALL ID using the automatic feature on the site, nor could I get the instructions to work correctly (they are sorely lacking in details).
I was left with either no comments block at all in my template or no comments at all after a year's worth of work if I kept ID.
i have had a few comments today, finally found a way to uninstall ID, but can't import the most recent comments back into blogger.
PLEASE HELP. This is not cool. Or right.
I just want my template and my comments back in Blogger form.
