Could you please tell me if it is possible to collapse thread by default and expand them on demand (currently thread are expanded by default).

Inappropriate?Currently threads collapse by default once there are 25 parent comments. This is done to improve load time and performance especially once comments are paginated. Unfortunately this can't be customized at the moment.
In the future we plan to revisit this issue, but at the moment we're focusing on other improvements, additional features, and integrations. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I am frustrated as well - this defeats the purpose of the threads and takes away from Intense Debate's number 1 feature. Please undo this requirement.
