Comment link text always displayed as "Comments" only
Comment link text is not showing on the page. I've given the comment link text settings as "Be the first to comment" when there is no comments, "[#] comment" when there is 1 comment, & "[#] comments" when there are multiple comments. But in the page it is shown as "Comments" only. Whether there is a comment or no comments at all it is displayed as "Comments" only.
I hope you will respond to this problem quickly.

Inappropriate? Thanks for contacting us Suman. Are you sure you saved your settings at IntenseDebate.com on your blog settings page? Could you provide me a link to the issue? Thanks.
I’m confident
-
Yeah I saved the settings at IntenseDebate.com blog settings page. This is my blog address http://isuman.blogspot.com -
Suman, could you please send me your blog template to support@intensedebate.com? Thanks -
Sure. I'll send it right now. -
I've send the template.
Subject - Blog template (Suman Subramonian)
Attached file name - iSuman.xml -
Received. We're checking it out now. Thanks -
Did you find out the problem? Can it be fixed? -
Suman, I've got our dev team working on it. Thanks for your patience. -
Okay :) -
One month passed by. What happened to my template? Did you resolve the problem? Is there any solution? -
Inappropriate?I just started using IntenseDebate for my Wordpress site, and I'm having the exact same issue.. It displays fine in Firefox, but in IE it always just shows "Comments". If you've found a solution, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!
-
I didn't find a solution for the problem. I've removed IntenseDebate and now I'm using the blogger commenting system. Blogger is doing a good job. -
Cartman, I have the same exact problem. Until this is fixed, simply use the "Wordpress Standard Comment Links" selection.
The downside is not all the comments are being included in the comment numbers. -
Inappropriate?Guys, anything being done to fix this?
This is really getting frustrating. In the past couple days my comment counts have stopped displaying properly.
I don't like how slow "IntenseDebate Enhanced Comment Links" loads but "Wordpress Standard Comment Links" doesn't display comment count properly.
Please fix this!

Inappropriate?I have exactly the same problem.
If you have figure it out I would love to have the solution.
Thanks -
Inappropriate?I have the same problem where ID replaces my neatly formatted single number with its default "Comments (XXX)" even though I changed it in the settings. It's definitely replacing as the initial page loads with just the number of comments (inside a comment bubble), and then gets replaced by ID.
I sent an email to support@ - hope it can get some love.

The blog is at http://beerpla.net
The part being replaced is being generated by <?php comments_popup_link('0', '1', '%', 'commentslink'); ?>
I’m frustrated

I've since disabled ID and implemented my own comments, so you won't see the behavior you see in the screenshot.
