comments link displays twice
blog - http://genepensiero.com/jr/blog
problem - on my posts the #respond link is displaying twice (the css image that is) in firefox and safari. in IE things look ok, but i do get an error:
> Error: 'J.parentNode' is null or not an object
not sure if that's ID's fault or mine.
thought the problem was fixed when i selected "Wordpress Standard Comment Links" in the settings, but when i go that route new comments don't show up in the comment count (it will say "No Comments" despite the presence of comments).
love Intense Debate. hoping it becomes a little less buggy soon!

Inappropriate?Hey,
Looks like you figured this out already? IntenseDebate has to hook in to the comment link to display the correct comment count, and the only way to do this is to add a link. Unfortunately WordPress doesn't allow us to simply replace the link.
Generally hiding the old link using CSS (like style="display: none;") works perfectly well from a visual standpoint though.
However, your last note about the WordPress own comment count being out of sync indicates that you could have a syncing error. We're therefore investigating this for you, will get back to you with details when we know more.
Thanks!
