Inappropriate?Hi Ross, what's the URL to your main website so we can check this out please?

Inappropriate?actually i managed to get around that and the comments are now showing up but i have some more problems now.
firstly the link is http://stupidblogarchive.blogspot.com/
firstly i would like to make it so that when a person views a blog entry they dont have to click "comments" to view and post comments - i was wondering if there was any way to make them just appear automatically.
secondly if im logged in and i go to make a comment i have to click comment - then the comment box pops up with the last posted comment above it and all the rest are hidden. if i want to view all of them and the comment box i have to click the green "comment" below the comment box (another link that appeared out of nowhere)
and finally when i view the comments they seem to be locked within aa type of iFrame which is scrollable. i was wondering if there was any way to disable the scrollable interface and just make the comments keep stacking up below. because if i can do that it becomes a type of advertisement to my members without them knowing that they can post comments which is a definite + in my books
link to my blogger template is here: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/881304/Blo...
you may be thinking the blog looks like rubbish but its actually embedded into another site (my main site) im just trying to use the general blogger interface for blogging to make posting easier because the main site is built with iweb 3.0 and it doesn't support a lot of features i require.
thanks for the reply back - i was worrying nobody was going to come back to me

Inappropriate?I think most of your concerns can be fixed by simply using our generic JS install code instead of the Blogger widget. The Blogger widget is a lot easier to setup, but doesn't really allow for much customization unfortunately.
The generic method is basically just a couple of lines of JS you can drop on to your page instead. You can find the code for your blog here:
http://intensedebate.com/update/gener...
The top block of code will generate the comment section wherever you put it (inline, not in an iframe, and loaded automatically - not behind a comment link) and the second one will generate the comment link (with the comment count). I should mention that we only allow one full comment section to be loaded on a page at the same time. So if you have several posts displayed at the same time you should use the comment link code instead (and have that open the comment section). From your link it didn't look like you have more than one post on a page, but I wanted to mention it in case you run into that.
Hope this helps! -
Inappropriate?Hi Jon,
Thanks for getting back to me - The reason i went for the iFrame styled integration was because i embed my blog into another site and when using bloggers comment application each time a new comment was posted the page would refresh and load up my actual "blogger" page instead of staying on my site.
Thats why i loaded up Intense Debate into an Iframe - Anyway i've read what you said about using the JS instead so im going to build a test blog and test site along site my own site and see whether the comment post does a redirect refresh away from the test site - If it doesn't then im in business and i'll pull out the iFrame and load in the JS. If it does i guess i'll have to stick with my iFrame Implementation.
Oh and yes i only keep 1 post per page - Reason being each refresh of my blog page in my site will deliver another page full of advert content when i install the code maximizing my advert to user ratio and bring me more profits
Thanks again for getting back to me,
I'll be in touch again if i run into any more problems,
Cheers,

I’m thankful that Intense Debate replied and now I'm on a mission to develop a new test site - Yay!
