Comments not syncing back into WordPress blog
Comments are not syncing back into WordPress on my main blog.
For some reason, its just stopped syncing back and its sorta annoying since I like to use the Wordpress widget for recent comments in my sidebar.

Inappropriate?Hi Amanda, I have a couple of questions for you so I can try to figure out what's going on here (apologies in advance for the barrage of questions!):
1. You said that it's "stopped syncing" -- does this mean that it has been working fine, but has literally just suddenly stopped?
2. Do you know if your server is behind a firewall or other protection of some sort which may have possibly been modified to block us from accessing your server (that's how syncing works)
3. Have you recently added any htaccess or similar security rules to prevent other servers from contacting/accessing yours?
4. What is the URL to your website so I can have a look on our end
5. Have you recently installed any new plugins which may be interfering somehow?
Thanks in advance, and I'm sure we can get this sorted out :)

Inappropriate?Hi Amanda, is this still happening? I ran a repair tool on our end that should have synced back anything that hadn't already synced hopefully. It looks like you've got IntenseDebate disabled at the moment though, so hard to know what happened.

Beau, I'm having the same problem. Can you run a repair tool? I'm reimporting comments but comments made in ID aren't showing up when I uninstall.

Inappropriate?I'm also having the same problem over at http://writeitsideways.com.
Only in the last 3 days, comments have stopped syncing back from ID. eg. check the most recent post on the front page, it shows 0 comments on the main page (the Wordpress count), but there are 5 comments (so far).
Quite frustrating to say the least as I can't disable ID as any of the recent comments are not stored in my WP database.

Inappropriate?Everyone -- we had a slow down with our syncing process, so a load of comments that need to be synced back got "stuck" in our queue. They're not gone, they're just waiting patiently in a sync queue so that we can get them back over to your blogs.
We're still trying to make sure that this doesn't happen again, and in the meantime we've switched over to a clean sync queue to keep new comments coming in syncing over normally. There are a chunk of comments that are still waiting to sync, which we're slowly syncing back out, but it's taking a while because there are a bunch of them, and we don't want to overwhelm any individual blog, or have the queue lock up again by trying to process it too quickly.
If you can please keep an eye on your sites, and if you're still missing comments a few days from now, let us know by emailing support@intensedebate.com with the URL to your site and ideally a few links to specific posts where you know comments are missing from so that we can make sure they get synced fully.
