I apologize for the delay. This is extremely painful to fix and cannot be done at this time. Thanks for the feedback, we will look into an expand all button. I apologize for the inconvenience.
On a separate note, I'd like to request that you please email support@intensedebate.com for all future issues. Emailing support ensures that the issue is logged in our tracking system which is a critical limitation of Get Satisfaction since we're unable to use it with our tracking system.
We will be moving away from providing future support in Get Satisfaction. However until that happens please only email us at support@intensedebate.com.

The default collapse kicks in when there are 25 threads. This is to maximize load time, stability, as well as help improve navigation. We're currently rewriting a large portion of backend code that will further improve this. Once we're all set we will be looking to roll out this type of customization.

John, this is not going to happen in the immediate future. At the moment this is a necessity based on the structure of the comment system. We've looked at some alternatives but they do not create a seamless user experience and require additional page loads which will definitely slow down the process. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Default collapse is annoying, but if it's going to be painful to fix, we really need a workaround.
