IntenseDebate doesn't send any notifications related to posts, no.
If they have subscribed to notifications about *comments* for a post then they will get an email if anyone posts a comment on that specific post though.

Inappropriate?It's not something that we're immediately planning on implementing, since IntenseDebate is more targeted towards working with comments than posts, although it is an interesting idea.

Inappropriate?@Steven, just post a new post to your blog/website as normal (it'll be different based on what system you're using, but for example in WordPress you go to Posts > Add New in your admin section)
