Hi DragonFlyEye -- indeed ID does work on WPMU, but as you've noted you need to set it up on each blog. We've thought about setting something up where a Site Admin could install ID for all blogs, but you'd still need to execute the import and configuration for each blog individually anyway, so for now we're not supporting that.
In most cases it's actually better not to be running imports on all of your blogs at the same time anyway, in case the additional load on your server(s) is a problem. If you've got any ideas on how this could work better for you though, I'd love to hear them!

Inappropriate?I apologize for the delay. Currently we've got several WP MU sites using IntenseDebate. They majority were able to install with no issue. There were a handful that ran into some issues that we were able to correct. We haven't tested it on the 2.7 beta what that was just released.
Please feel free to email us directly at support@intensedebate.com with any questions.
Thanks,
Michael

Inappropriate?just tried it on one of the blogs on my mu installation. seems to be doing well.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?I've been able to use it. However, it would be nice to have an MU-specific version that allows one Site Admin location for all settings, rather than having each individual blog setup the commenting on their own.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Well, I would say that generally, a lot of settings for ID could potentially be central to the user ID instead of the blog, but that's of course your company's call. Since most of the settings are really set on the ID side and not the blog's, IntenseDebate could allow one set of general settings propagate to all new blogs claimed by a user. I'm thinking in particular of the FaceBook Connect settings, which work for every blog using the same FBC App ID, anyway.
Thank you very much for the quick reply! The MU details are just that - details, nice to have but not essential. So far, the comments are working great!
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? Thanks for the feedback! We are actively looking for ways to improve our WPMU integration, so I'll add these ideas to our list so we can see how they'd all work for a wider implementation.
Generally speaking things should currently be stored on a user-basis where it makes sense (e.g. your account for auto-login) and a blog-level where it makes sense (e.g. blog association details with your account on ID), but I'll be sure to go over all of that as we move forward to make sure that everything is where it makes the most sense (and perhaps shared across data layers where appropriate).
Thanks again! -
Inappropriate?Automattic owns MU and ID the whole point would be a sitewide application. Having each person do in on individual blogs is horrible.
I’m frustrated
