Error while importing wordpress
I tried importing wordpress into ID 5 times in the last 15 hrs but keeps erroring out during import with the following message
"Import in progress...
An importing error occured. Please contact us to get help!
Please note: While comments are being imported you might notice some of your comments appear to be missing from the IntenseDebate comment system. Don't worry though, your comments will be back as soon as they are imported.
The process usually takes a few hours or less, but times may vary depending on how many comments you're importing. Feel free to go about your business in the mean time. You'll be notified via email when the import is complete.
If you're experiencing importing problems you can try to restart the import process to see if that fixes it."
My first import got stuck at 19%, second 30%, third 60%, fourth 12%.
Strangely, though i got several emails during import that my import has completed.
my blog - http://sunitablogs.com. I have about 21000 comments.
Other issues i have noticed...
- In wordpress i no longer see EDIT button under 'Manage Comments'
the ones that i see are unapprove,spam,delete,reply

Inappropriate?Thanks for getting in contact. I apologize for the delay. I noticed that you no longer have IntenseDebate up and running, but if you'd like to give it another try I would be more than happy to take a look. Please let me know.
Currently you can't edit comments through the ID interface, but you can edit them in the WP interface and the changes will sync back. We are rolling out comment editing very soon though.

Michael, i have tried once again, hoping that the upgrade would fixed the issue but didnt.could you please look into this. it keeps failing in middle -

I was part of the group that had initial problems with initial install, "Wordpress says 100% complete but does not import old comments"
We upgraded to version 2.1.1 yesterday, and restarted the import which was successful but kept giving errors at around the 24-27% mark...
We have 25,000+ comments..
We use the latest version of Wordpress..

Inappropriate?Update on our problem.. we've gone as high as 60% on some imports, but then we get the error over and over again.. so far, we have tried of probably 10+ times now, but each time there is an error..
Please let us know as to how to solve the problem at hand.. thank you -
