How to Claim Comments
After I've signed up for an account, how do I go back and claim my comments? I've signed up for an ID, but when I log in at the blog my comments were posted on, I cannot find any way to claim them. I've looked in the faq and forums, and can't seem to find any information on this.

Have you created an Intense Debate account? What exactly do you mean by claim the comments you made on someone else's blog?
If you create an account on Intense Debate, your comments will be linked to you. In addition other commenters will have the ability to rate your comments and you will receive reputation points as a commenter. Please check out the following link for more details - http://intensedebate.com/features.

Please login to IntenseDebate.com. You will see a tab that shares the same name as your blog. Please select this tab. Several new tabs will appear, beginning with the tab titled "Moderation." Please select this tab. This is where you can approve your comments to be displayed on your blog. You can control your moderation settings in the "Settings" tab, which can be found to the right of the Moderation tab.

Yes, I've created an Intense Debate account. I guess I got confused, I was thinking that it was possible for me to go back and "claim" the comments I made (on an ID-supported blog) *before* I created my ID account. Is that possible?

Inappropriate?Unfortunately we do not offer a way to claim comments made before you installed Intense Debate. This is a feature we're working on though and will be available in the future.

Nope, as far as I know. Imported comments retain e-mail information though, so in the future it might be possible. I will make a suggestion about this!

Inappropriate?I'd love to be able to claim the comments I made on my own blog before installing Intensedebate -- so that all my old comments show as being made by me, the admin. -
Inappropriate?Seriously, this is not a feature? Come on, this is not a very useful tool if I cannot claim all of the comments I have made on my own website in the past. After searching and searching for an answer to this, I think it's about time to switch to another system that will give me credit for what I have written on my own website.

Inappropriate?I would like to add my voice to those who would like to see this feature. I am a participant on sites what use IntenseDebate such as http://www.cbc.ca/spark . I've had problems logging into my IntenseDebate account a few times, and have posted comments which are associated with my website and email address, but do not show up at http://www.intensedebate.com/people/r... I would like to go back and confirm that they were from me and have them attached (with my picture and all).
