I can not use unicode characters in my display name, WHY?
When I use unicode characters for my display name (NOT username) in edit profile page, I get this error: "Your name contains invalid characters." but my name is "گناهکار" and I want to post my comments with this display name, can you fix this BIG problem for non-english users?

Inappropriate?I still face what looked to me as the same problem.
People leaving comments with a greek (unicode) nickname have their nickname trimmed in weird way. See the first comment here: http://rec-on.blogspot.com/2008/11/bl... The nickname was "ΟΡΕΣΤΗΣ", but turned into "ΟΡ&Epsil".

Inappropriate?Panayotis, this is actually an unrelated issue. Unicode works perfectly well even for anonymous comments (I've tested to make sure just now, tried greek characters as well), but what probably happened is that your reader tried to sign up for IntenseDebate and misunderstood that we then want a username in the "Name" field.
This is confusing to many users, I know, and we're currently discussing how we're going to handle the situation. However, I'm happy to confirm to you that Unicode does work as it should! :)

Inappropriate?No, it doesn't... Have a look at the following screen shots. Look at the name filed. I enter "Παναγιώτης". When I submit the comment it looks like the name is fine. Then, I refresh the page and... nope.
