Inappropriate?I have this problem too, use wordpress 2.7, plugin 2.0.16. and is always the same message. Already reset the plugin, and nothing yet.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? We've released a new version of the plugin (v 2.0.17) which is available for download. If you haven't already please upgrade to the latest version.
If you are still encountering import issues please email us at support@intensedebate.com and we'll take a look.

Inappropriate?I am having this same issue. I had IntenseDebate installed and then went back to Disqus and decided to return to IntenseDebate. Not sure if that is what is causing this issue. New comments are not importing in and on the IntenseDebate settings page it is stuck at the "Queued, waiting for import."
I am also failing to see an option to 'reset' the plugin. Do you mean deactiviate and then reactive the plugin? I have tried this and I am still stuck at the "Queued, waiting for import." portion and it will be going on 48 hours soon.
I’m interested in learning about a solution.
-
Inappropriate?I'm on v2.0.17 and WP 2.7. I've also had this problem. I've deactiviated and re-activated the plug in but that returns me to the "Queued, waiting for Import" screen. I've a dozen comments and its taken a week...
Any thoughts?
I’m anxious

Inappropriate?I have the constant "Queued, waiting for import" problem as well. Has any fix been released?
-
Inappropriate?Email support@intensedebate.com and they will reset the import for you on their end, but this did not work for me. I went into the backend database of my Wordpress site and changed the id_debug_log key from:
2009-01-18 20:33:57 - Successful sending attempt: N; - [{"operation_id":"ed2dc65d48620deb025f3ddffd586ce1","action":"user_login","result":"failure","response":{"error_code":4004,"error_msg":"Login failed.","attempt_retry":false}}]

This fixed it, but I am unsure if I should leave it this way.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Having this issue too. Have emailed support, but before finding this thread. We have some 21,300 comments to import, but it seems to have got stuck on 52%.
I’m anxious
-
Inappropriate?Hi @Mike, what's the URL of the website you're trying to import so that I can take a look and see what's going on.
-
Inappropriate?I'm also having an issue with my comments it seems their not queueing for import. my site is http://straightfacecomics.com I only have like 500 comics not sure how long this should take but I've tried restarting it after leaving it over night and it's still at 0 percent.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? So does this thing work? I'm having the same issue, I've tried resetting 4 times now and it just hangs at 0%.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?I have 2.4.2 release (with WP 2.8.4) and I don't have many comments to import... Neverthelss, It always makes a loop (start "importing" but quiclky backs to "login" window...). I can't pass this step. (Even though clicking on Slip import... option)
My URL http://neolectum.com/blog/ -
Inappropriate?@Daniel Schoonover what's the URL to your site?
@danielmac it sounds like you're having a problem we've heard from other folks who's server is not accessible from ours. Are you on a free webhost by chance who doesn't allow external connections into their server? Or perhaps you are testing on a development server of some kind with is not accessible from other machines (required during initial login/import). -
@beau I'm not on a free webhost. I don't know the different routines for external access but, for instance, I make my sitemap.xml file with an external service that visit my server and builds the file... WordPress structure is “within” my website and it seems instantdebate folder is correctly installed (at least, plug-in tab recognises it and I am able to activate/deactivate it).
I’ve just updated to WP 2.8.4, and I don’t have many plug-ins yet (Akismet, Poll, a deactivated “Hello Dolly” (?) and yours). I will revisit this thread to fix the problem. Thanks for your follow up.
(“blog” is the (root) folder name for my WP structure) -
Inappropriate? My domain is http://dangarion.com I currently have ID deactivated since it wasn't working. Let me know if you have further questions.
I’m sad
-
Hi Dan, really sorry for the delay in responding. It looks like ID is activated and working on your blog now. I see a comment on your most recent post at least. Are things OK on your site? -
So far so good. Haven't had much content lately but the test post I did worked. Thanks for the response. -
Inappropriate?@danielmac -- what is your IntenseDebate user account? I can't even find record of your blog starting the install process on our end, so it looks like there's something preventing our servers from talking to each other.
Also, is /blog/ where all the WordPress files themselves live (e.g. you have a /blog/ folder off the root of your domain, and then everything is in there), or are the WordPress files actually installed somewhere else, but it responds to requests for /blog/ ?
Thanks -
Hi, the IntenseDebate user account I use is neolectum (the domain name). Also, ALL WordPress directory structure is in /blog/ folder (your first option...)
Unfortunately, I cannot confirm anything right now because mi ISPis having troubles on server side (and on Sunday...), so I will test tomorrow and let you know. All the best, D. -
Inappropriate?@danielmac: I don't see any record of your blog even starting the install/import process on our end, so it looks like there is some sort of network/connectivity problem that's completely preventing things from getting started between your server and ours.
Please do contact your webhost and find out if there's anything that would prevent your server from talking to ours, and/or our server from talking to yours. -
Inappropriate?I having this problem in 2 blogs:
http://www.allcarsmag.com
http://www.loultimomagazine.com
I send a email to contact us and no reply
