Importing comments for generic install?
How do I import comments for a generic install? I'm moving away from WordPress to a simpler, static blog and have managed to export my comments and re-install IntenseDebate for my new blog, but the import option is no longer listed under Blog Tools.
I’m anxious that I'll loose existing comments...

Inappropriate?Unfortunately we do not offer a way to import your comments from WordPress to a generic format. You can export your ID comments in an xml format but we do not have an xml importer at this time. We hope to in the future.

Inappropriate?Do you have any timeline for that feature? Is there a workaround we can use in the meantime? Not having the ability to import comments from most blogging software is quite the barrier to adoption, but I'm sure y'all realize that.
