Make the avatar link to the user's blog instead of their ID profile page
In most blog systems, clicking on the user's avatar or alias, takes you to their blog if they've provided one but with ID registered users, the link takes you to their ID profile which most of the time is irrelevant to others.
Can we make it the default behaviour for people who have provided a blog link, to have their avatar link there instead?
Others have the same gripe so I think it's worth it.

Inappropriate?At the very least, I'd like to have the option to add the websites dropdown link from the IDC profile to the user ID bar on a comment, something that will allow a user to click directly through to that user's website(s).

Jim - if you hover an a users avatar a list of their web properties will drop down. You can link to your blog along with your social networking profiles, etc. You can fill out your profile at http://intensedebate.com/editprofile.

Inappropriate?I noticed another side-issue of this. Imported comments to wordpress keep for their avatar link the other person's id-profile. All my post-id imported comments in wordpress from registered users are pointing there now

I think that it could be made an option within the ID profile settings (link to ID profile OR link to one of the following social sites/blogs).
Also db0 made a great point about wordpress imported comments. I noticed this the other day when doing some db maintenance. If by chance one ever wants to revert back to using WP comments the user urls are all set to ID profile pages.

Inappropriate?I see that you've updated the mouseover popup window but the url of the poster remanis the same. As this is a popular idea, can't we improve it?

Inappropriate?Has this one been implemented yet? Since part of the reason many people post on a blog is to publicize their own, this seems like pretty important functionality. ID looks very promising, but if I'm going to scare off commenters, it is a no go for my site.
