Need Email Addresses!
Back when the comments were hosted on Wordpress, I would get details including email address, IP address, and username. However, ever since installing Intense Debate, a lot of these features are missing.
The email address is most important, since we run contests in which we give away prizes via email. Also, it would be nice to have numbered comments, so that if needed we can keep track of the 100 or so comments on a post.

In regards to your numbered comments, what exactly do you have in mind? Where would these numbers be located?

Inappropriate?I'm with DaKing240 on this one, since yes, I do write for him. We "desperately" need to email our commenters to get their contact info for prizes. That's how we've always done it. However, ID doesn't really let us contact them directly in any way, shape or form. If they do have a Facebook or Twitter account, then we "could" contact them via that, but there is no guarantee that it is something they check regularly or are subscribed to via email (as in getting notifications when something arrives).
I'm glad to hear ID is working on it, and I hope we do see something very soon. lol

Inappropriate?Thanks for the feedback. We've just rolled out some new beta features, one of which provides email addresses in new comment email notifications. However, you still will only receive email addresses if the commenter has decided to include it. We've also included IP addresses in these notifications (this is a stepping stone for several future admin features).

Yea, we would need that too, although we could have them register to qualify. Frankly though, we don't like forcing our users to do things like that.
