Not all comments imported and those all imported are without name!
I have installed IntenseDebate comment system in my blog http://positivensuccess.blogspot.com/ about two weeks or so before. I imported old comments from Blogger using Beta comment importer but all comments didn't get imported and those imported are without name and link to commentators profile or website. I only can see the default Intensedebate pictue and their comments. I am surprised by this. I think comments are less useful without at least name of the commentator.
I have read in another thread that one user has reimported comments and there he/she got many duplicate comments. I would have deleted those duplicate comments manuallly but still am not sure whether those that were not imported before will be imported or not and will they be imported with name and profile of the user or not.
I really like the commenting system and would like to continue in coming days as well. Any help for me. I am really in trouble.

Inappropriate?Thanks for submitting your issue. Please don't re-import your comments as this will result in duplicates and a bit of a headache for everyone!
As our Blogger importer is in Beta, these glitches do happen from time to time and we are working on improving this process. In the meantime, please hang tight while we work this out. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Inappropriate?Variation on the theme. The ID widget seems to have stalled for one of my frequent commentors, and he ended up seeing the default Typepad comment entry box. Made a comment, and now it's hidden from everyone else.
I exported and then imported into ID, which declared success.
His comment now appears, but only in the "most recent comments" sidebar I have - NOT on the blog entry itself.

What I notice is that for some reason there are two entries for one blog entry. In the dashboard, most blog entries are listed according to their title, but this most recent one is in twice - once with the title, and once with the URL.

If you can reconcile the two in the back-end, I'd appreciate it.
Something clearly happened though - that tweaked the commenting mechanics.

Inappropriate?The importer to Blogger didn't worked at the first few times. Or so it seemed. Then it imported some of the old comments. And now the imported old comments are with no name and they have doubled or dublicated. I imported comments few times because i seemed not to work.

Unfortunately this is an issue with our blogger importer and cannot be corrected at the moment. I apologize for the frustration and inconvenience. This will be corrected in the next version of our importer.
