Previously approved commenters still need approval
I have the following settings for comment posting on SeoulPodcast.com
Comment Posting
x All comments must be approved by an administrator
x Commenters must signup with Intense Debate before posting
v Comment author must have a previously approved comment
Yet I still have to approve every single comment on the site, even from previously approved commenters.

Inappropriate? Not having this exact issue but a comment or two a day from some regular commenters gets held in moderation.
The thing weirdest about this is I have ALL these boxes unchecked:
-All comments must be approved by an administrator
-Commenters must signup with Intense Debate before posting
-Comment author must have a previously approved comment
I don't get it. Shouldn't every single comment automatically go up, especially from regular commenters?
I’m confused
-
Which comments are being held? Is there any pattern? -
Naw, its totally random. I'll have someone who writes like 20 comments a day who for some reason has one held in moderation. -
Inappropriate?ZenKimchi - I noticed that you have a number of key words to be flagged for moderation. Is it possible that the comments that are going through are hitting these filters? I was able to post a comment directly without any issue. (I deleted it after posting.)
Thanks,
Michael -
True. I think Askismet added that, and I was thinking that may be the case. Going down the list, though, the keywords are very specific to names of web sites and products. I'll delete them temporarily and see if that does it. -
Inappropriate?Hey Michael, here is an example of a comment from a regular site commenter that just got held in moderation (no clue why):

Who asked you to pay? Not me. I believe in individual liberty and the free enterprise system. The problem of which you speak is a problem of the collective and socialism. The government should not be involved and I agree that the insurers should be able to set their rates according to risk.
I also agree with Dolley that seat belts may save lives, but not necessarily money.
If seat belts are such wonderful things, why do we not have them in school buses?
Do you have a link fof your assertion about 'alcohol / seat belts' accidents and injuries?
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Just an update, we figured out what was causing this. The comments contained a keyword that was being flagged for moderation. Please check your moderation settings in your Settings tab at http://intensedebate.com.
Cheers,
michael -
Inappropriate?Really? I deleted all the keywords, and it's still holding every single comment up for moderation.
